HP: Ravenclaw/Books

What I'm Reading

What did you recently finish reading?

Packing for Mars: The Curious Science of Life in the Void by Mary Roach
Definitely in my top 3 books by this author, possibly even my favorite!

House Made of Dawn by N. Scott Momaday
This month's Pulitzer Prize winner read. I wanted to love this one, especially as I understand the importance of the book's success in Native American literature, but I just didn't enjoy it.

Spotlight (Famous #2) by Eden Finley
I'm a big fan of this author and this did not disappoint!

Notable Fanfic Reads:
-Alternative pipe-cleaning methods by [archiveofourown.org profile] cupidsbow (Venom, Symbrock)
-wrapped around your finger by [archiveofourown.org profile] arahir (Venom, Symbrock
-no wrong answers by  Currently Anon (Harry Potter, Harry/Remus/Sirius)

What are you currently reading?

Stamped from the Beginning by Ibram X. Kendi
Current nonfiction read. FABULOUS so far.

A Very Punchable Face by Colin Jost
Current audiobook read/listen. So far I'm enjoying it.

The Awakening Land Trilogy by Conrad Richter
The third book in the trilogy is on my Pulitzer Prize Winner list, but I've widely heard it's best to read the books in order, so I get 3 books for the price of one Pulitzer Prize winner. :/ I just finished the first and it looks like the second is also on the shorter side, so that's good. I'm enjoying it well enough so far, but not *loving* it.

What do you think you’ll read next?

After Felix (Close Proximity #3) by Lily Morton
I love this author and this series has been great so far, but I've been dragging my feet a bit with this book as the theme isn't my favorite. Hopefully I still enjoy!

Shameless by Nadia Bolz-Weber
Next non-fiction read!
