Great read! Some really interesting and clever pure-blood customs here, and it was so great watching Harry and Draco come together! Plus Scorpius in this is just the cutest thing ever!

Title: Level Two: Series One
Authors/Artists: [community profile] hd_level_two : Go here for a list of all the awesome people involved in this project!
Rating: NC-17
Pairings: Harry/Draco, Ron/Hermione, Draco/OMC
Word Count: 113,494

Summary: A collaborative fannish project, in which H/D writers and artists come together to produce a novel-length, illustrated murder mystery, set on Level Two of the Ministry of Magic. Harry and Draco become embroiled in solving cases from the past, which all seem to lead towards something wicked, lurking deep in the shadows of the wizarding world.
The individual and overarching mystery is compelling, the evolution of Draco and Harry's relationship is well-paced and believable, the characterizations are spot-on, and the art is gorgeous. Go read it!

Title: All Life is Yours to Miss
Authors: [archiveofourown.org profile] saras_girl
Rating: Hard R
Pairings: Harry/Draco, Ron/Hermione
Word Count: 114,741
Content/Warnings: professor!harry, professor!draco, bottom!harry, hd_smoochfest 2013
Summary: Professor Malfoy's world is contained, controlled, and as solitary as he can make it, but when an act of petty revenge goes horribly awry, he and his trusty six-legged friend are thrown into Hogwarts life at the deep end and must learn to live, love and let go.
Like basically everything from [archiveofourown.org profile] saras_girl, this was brilliant. God, I loved all of Draco's stories and how he slowly starts to come into his own, and Stanley was a delight. And a truly fantastic Ron and Hermione.

Title: Silververse (10 Fics)
Author: [archiveofourown.org profile] fearlessdiva
Pairing(s): Harry/Draco, Draco/OMC, Harry/Draco/OMC (9th fic only), past Severus/Lucius, background Hermione/OMC, Sirius/Remus, Severus/Bill
Rating: NC-17 overall
Word Count: ~121,448
Content/Warnings: AU: Hogwarts, AU: Snape Lives, spy!draco, past character death, switching, bottom!draco, bottom!Harry, seer!draco, auror!harry, bodyguard!harry, light bondage, threesome: m/m/m, some epistolary!fic
Summary: A love story concerning possessed furniture, black silk pyjamas, courtroom drama, premonitions of doom, assassination attempts, Death Eater yoga, absinthe, bare feet and a sensible werewolf. Beware: coarse language, brief drug use, some sexual content, and consideration of issues of sexual consent.
Really great fic that goes AU pretty early in the books, with Draco turning spy for the Ministry of Magic. This was definitely a popular trope from back in the day, and I really loved this author's take on it. The seer aspect added some interesting perspective, and I thought it was handled and incorporated perfectly--it never felt like it overwhelmed the plot. I enjoyed the structure of the fic here, where the plot chapters were inter-cut with letters, Auror reports, and other non-traditional pieces of writing that clearly were relevant and moved the story forward. It was fun and well executed. And, of course, the characterizations were great. I love that Draco doesn't lose any of his spark, and that his bitterness over how things went down during the war is very obvious. It made for a redeemed but still recognizable Draco, and how Harry reacts and interacts with Draco is really wonderful. Great slow build of Harry's feelings, and while the main fic doesn't have the sex, the sequels more than make up for it.

Title: Contracted
Author: [personal profile] lomonaaeren
Pairings: Harry/Draco eventually, also Harry/OFC, Blaise/Astoria, Ron/Hermione, Ginny/Luna, Pansy/Theodore, and past Draco/Astoria and Draco/OMC
Rating: Hard R
Word Count: 125,338
Content/Warnings: bottom!harry, auror!harry
Summary: Harry Potter is the perfect Auror, Jared Sandborn is the perfect Minister, and they control the wizarding world between them. One late night at a Ministry gala, seven years after the war, Draco Malfoy finds out why-and what it might take to change things.
I love fics where you get to know all the Slytherins, such an interesting bunch, and they really make this story.

Title: Any Instrument
Author: [personal profile] dicta_contrion
Pairing(s): Harry/Draco, brief Draco/OMC, background Millicent/Blaise
Rating: NC-17
Word Count: ~130,000
Content/Warnings: magical disability, disability!fic, auror!harry, brief accidental voyeurism, bottom!harry, first time, [community profile] hd_erised 2015
Summary: Draco Malfoy wouldn't go back to England for anything less than an exceptional case. Being asked to figure out why Harry Potter can't control his magic might be exceptional enough to qualify.
This fic...well, it's hard to say in just a few words how amazing it is. It's got a absolutely magnificent Draco, some very clever magical theory, seriously amazing side characters, and a beautifully complex Harry. Draco's job was super cool, as was the whole reason for him being involved with Harry's particular case. The build here is very slow, but it's beautiful, and when Draco and Harry finally come together, it's so, so worth it! Some angst along the way, but I promise, you're in good hands here, and the ending is perfect.

Title: Building With Worn-Out Tools and Some Virtues of the Fairytale
Author: [personal profile] lomonaaeren
Rating: Hard R
Pairings: Draco/Harry, Ron/Hermione, Blaise/Ginny, mentions of past Harry/Ginny
Word Count: 129,552 and 4,301 (133,853 total)
Content/Warnings: slight AU after HBP, infidelity (not Harry or Draco), ginny bashing, switching, lawyer!draco, bottom!harry, bottom!draco
Summary: Right smack in the middle of a stormy divorce from Ginny, Harry has no reason to be attracted to his Arguer, Draco Malfoy. I mean, it's Malfoy.
I normally am not a fan of ginny bashing, but it kind of works for this fic. I love the dynamic between Draco and Harry is this fic, Draco as a wizarding divorce lawyer and Harry so captivated by him, especially in the "courtroom".

Title: All Our Secrets Laid Bare
Author: [personal profile] firethesound
Pairing: Harry/Draco, Ron/Hermione, Harry/OMC
Word Count: ~149,000
Rating: NC-17
Content/Warnings: auror!fic, auror!harry, auror!draco, switching, bottom!harry, bottom!draco, first time, tattoo!kink
Summary: Over the six years Draco Malfoy has been an Auror, four of his partners have turned up dead. Harry Potter is assigned as his newest partner to investigate just what is going on.
This fic was so unbelievably fantastic! The development of their relationship was perfectly pace, the tension and build-up was believable, and the dialogue was witty and funny. I loved characterizations of Harry and Draco here, and the side characters and original characters were truly fantastic (one of my favorite Ron's ever!). Plus there is mystery, and plot, and hot switching sex! Seriously such a great read.

Title: Frames of Mind Series (2 Fics)
Author: [personal profile] lomonaaeren
Pairings: Harry/Draco preslash building to slash, background Ron/Hermione, past Harry/Ginny
Rating: Hard R
Word Count: ~150,000
Content/Warnings: Suicidal behavior, AU post-war, healer!draco, auror!harry, bottom!harry, cursed!harry
Summary: Draco is a Psyche-Diver, and his newest patient is Auror Potter, who's been a pathological liar for over a year—and has just tried to violently end his own life.
This author writes the most unique stories. This concept is so interesting and really makes you think about what a mind-fuck this whole situation is. Really fascinating.

Title: A Thousand Beautiful Things Series (5 Fics)
Author: [archiveofourown.org profile] geoviki
Pairing(s): Harry/Draco, Draco/OMCs, background Ron/OFC, Hermione/Dean, Seamus/OFC
Rating: Hard R
Word Count: ~168,892
Content/Warnings: AU: Hogwarts, AU: Snape Lives, spy!draco, switching, bottom!draco bottom!Harry, model!draco, cursed!harry
Summary: Draco Malfoy struggles with changed fortunes, shifted alliances, an ugly war, and an unusual spell, with the help of a concerned professor, an insightful house-elf, and an unexpected Gryffindor friend.
Gorgeous fic that goes AU after OotP. This has so many great things in it: spy!draco, cursed!harry, model!draco, sacrifice, hot sex, and a wonderful slow burn. The characterizations here are fantastic. One of my favorite Snape's and Dean is another stand-out character. Draco, of course, totally steal the show, as he should. I love that we get inside of his mind while he's still in school and see why he makes the choices he makes. He feels wonderfully real and in-character, and while I loved watching his relationship with Harry develop, that almost feels secondary to Draco's overall journey throughout the fic. And the sequel is a wonderful continuation in this universe. We get to learn more about Draco's past experiences during the war and see him and Harry work through their relationship and overcome the difficulties that two people with such fucked up pasts are bound to have. Very gripping series. :D

Title: I Give You a Wondrous Mirror
Author: [personal profile] lomonaaeren
Pairings: Harry/Draco, Harry/Ginny, Draco/OFC, Ron/Hermione, Luna/Dean. Mentions of past Draco/OMC.
Rating: Hard R
Word Count: 196,442
Content/Warnings: switching, dream!sex, bottom!harry, bottom!draco, auror!harry, kid!fic, epilogue-compliant and AU
Summary: Harry is too busy ten years after the war to help out just one family, but that's exactly what he has to do. And as he hunts their enemy, magic no one understands is hunting him.
This fic has some confusing elements, but they are pretty well explained in the story and it makes for a unique story. Harry & Draco's relationship just evolves so naturally and you get to see them reach this perfect understanding of each other, it's great.

Title: Big Dick, Come Quick (no longer online)
Author: calanthe
Pairing(s): Harry/Draco
Rating: NC-17
Word Count: 204,473
Content/Warnings: AU after HBP, switching, bottom!harry, but mostly bottom!draco, hung!harry, ginny bashing, bondage, sex toys, threesome (with a double), spit roasting
Summary: Draco’s got a theory. About sex. And after much searching for the right candidate, it appears that only Harry Potter, his life long enemy, can help him test it out.
I put off reading this story for so long because of the name, but I really enjoyed this one. Some people think it's way too long, but it's sweet and has some of the hottest sex scenes ever.

Title: The Marriage of True Minds
Author: [personal profile] lomonaaeren
Pairings: Harry/Draco eventually, Draco/Astoria, Harry/Ginny, Draco/OFC and Harry/OMC
Rating: Hard R
Word Count: 211,817
Content/Warnings: bottom!harry, bonding!fic, auror!harry, disability!fic
Summary: Lucius curses Harry and Draco into a forced marriage. They're required only to live together, not to be together, and so both of them pursue relationships on the side. But as time passes, things change.
I must admit that I am kind of a sucker for bonding fics, and this one was incredibly intricate; the forced marriage woven into the secondary plot-line and Harry's "problem". I love watching the characters slowly come together in this one and get their happy ending, despite all the angst along the way.

Title: Changing of the Guard and sequel one-shot Venture
Author: [personal profile] lomonaaeren
Pairings: Harry/Draco, (apparent) Draco/OMC, Ron/Hermione.
Rating: Hard R
Word Count: ~221,000
Content/Warnings: elements of prostitution, homophobia, cross-dressing (but not as a sexual kink), unusual jobs, switching, bottom!draco, bottom!harry, secret identity, identity porn
Summary: Need a perfect stranger? Ask Metamorphosis. Harry Potter runs the business secretly and becomes whoever's needed for each occasion. He's not sure whether he should be more surprised, worried, or amused when Draco Malfoy comes to Metamorphosis and requests an actor who can play his boyfriend so that his parents will disown him. Yet Harry has even more dangerous choices after he creates Brian, Draco's "perfect" boyfriend. Draco doesn't know who Brian is, but he's trying to find out—and now so is Harry.
God, this story is just so friggin' intriguing and unique. And even though the premise sounds a bit crazy, it totally works. You can perfectly see Harry's reasoning and why he would choose this for himself. And I love me some confident Draco! Plus, it was really interesting having a story set in a anti-homosexual wizarding world, since so many fics go the tolerant route.

Title: Hurricane Series (3 Fics)
Author: [personal profile] lomonaaeren
Pairings: Harry/Draco, Hermione/Ron, Bill/Fleur
Rating: Hard R
Word Count: 280,105 total
Content/Warnings: bottom!harry, bonding!fic
Summary: After the war, many people decide to leave for uninhabited but magical worlds. On the eve of his immigration to a new world called Hurricane, accompanied by his friends and godson, Harry discovers that Draco Malfoy is also on the list of emigrants.
This almost seems like an AU, because Harry and the gang leave for an unknown magical world, but they all still have their canon past. The world is so interesting and I really love the idea of the wandless magic in this fic, very unique! Plus the connection between Draco and Harry is fantastic and the writing is fabulous as always.

♥ ♥ Title: Turn
Author: [archiveofourown.org profile] saras_girl
Pairing: Harry/Draco, Ron/Hermione, Harry/Ginny, past Draco/Astoria, Blaise/Ginny
Rating: Hard R
Word Count: 321,769
Content/Warnings: switching, bottom!harry, bottom!draco, epilogue-compliant and AU, kid!fic, auror!harry, unusual jobs
Summary: One good turn deserves another. Apparently. Based loosely on "The Family Man"
I am in love with this story! Normally epilogue compliant stories aren't my favorite, but the "what-if?" aspect of this fic was so captivating. You get to go on this journey with Harry and see him figure out what his life could have been like, and then watch him come back, and start taking steps to make that life happen. I love, love, love the pet snakes and the crazy careers that just work, and the ballroom sex was hot!

♥ ♥ Title: Foundations!verse (2 Fics + 11 oneshots)
Author: [archiveofourown.org profile] saras_girl
Rating: NC-17 overall
Pairing: Harry/Draco, Ron/Hermione, Ginny/Neville, past Harry/Ginny, Terry/OFC
Word Count: ~365,000 total
Content/Warnings: healer!harry, switching, bottom!draco, bottom!harry, shower!sex, dark mark kink, themes of drug addiction, bathroom!sex, rimming, office!sex, desk!sex
Summary: Harry is about to discover that the steepest learning curve comes after Healer training, and that second chances can be found in unexpected places.
Honestly these might by my favorite fics ever. The OC are three-dimensional without being overpowering, the dynamics between Harry and is friends are perfect, and Draco and Harry both are just so believable and wonderful together. I especially love this author's little details that just make this fic so real; the string, "yes", the weekly polyjuice pub crawl, and the talking cupboards. And the sex scenes are just delicious and emotional. Gahh, just so awesome!

Title: Running to Paradise Trilogy: Soldier’s Welcome, Ceremonies of Strife, Seasons of War
Author: [personal profile] lomonaaeren
Rating: Hard R
Pairings: Harry/Draco preslash moving to slash, Ron/Hermione
Word Count: 187,987, 187,489, 164,673 respectively (540,149 total)
Content/Warnings: auror!harry, auror!draco, switching, bottom!harry, bottom!draco, auror training
Summary: It’s the first year of Auror training for Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, and...Draco Malfoy, but with Hagrid, Snape’s second Pensieve, rogue Death Eaters, Auror classes, and someone trying to start a second war to worry about, Harry might not have the time to pay that much attention to Malfoy. At first, anyway.
This trilogy is long! But so, so good! The plot is so detailed and intricate, and I love the interactions between Draco and Harry and Ron and Hermione. The auror training setting is different and fun.
